Today I was doing a search on Google for GRN (acronym for Global Resorts Network) and came across one of those sponsored ads that clearly asked the question “Global Resorts Network?”. Now since this is the topic of my search you would think that I would be taken to a page that has something to do with Global Resorts Network right? WRONG! It was a lead capture page that had no reference of my topic on the page. Instead it was something about getting 20 people to earn 20k per month.

When that number is reached (they say) they are slamming the doors shut!

Ok so I am still interested in finding out about GRN so maybe if I give these guys my name, email address and phone number that maybe the next page I see would be about the topic of my original search. Wrong AGAIN! I was now given screen shots of how much income they were making and to meet the guys and where they were coming from to where they are now but still nothing on Global Resorts Network!

Somewhere in these pages I must get information on Global Resorts Network so I kept moving on… Now I do not know about you but I do not like to be taken for a ride. I like my searches to be relevant to my topic and Google does too but none of the pages I viewed on that website mentioned GRN or Global Resorts Network. Now why is that? Well I got to the last page and what did I see? Reverse Funnel System.

Now I do not know anything about these guys but assuming that they were right and they were accepting only 20 people for their program and that they would shut the doors when that number was received, what do you suppose happened to the countless others who filled out that form at the very beginning seeking information about a topic and opportunity that was never discussed. Why all the secrecy? Is this or isn’t this Global Resorts Network? I will never know because I am not willing to spend $50 to find out just what it is they are marketing.

As for the thousands of names captured by their Aweber autoresponder, what happened to those people? They are working with 20 or so they say…

I will leave you to speculate on what happen to those names as I too am speculating.

It is my opinion that one should not buy leads.

Although Global Resorts Network prefers and encourages person to person sales of their products and services, affiliates are allowed to display Global Resorts literature in non chain store establishments with 5 or less stores. They are also allowed to display or sell Global Resorts Network products at Trade Shows and Expositions provided they get approval first from the company as only one GRN affiliate is allowed per event. If this is something that you would enjoy doing then get your paperwork in to the company ASAP as you may not be the only affiliate interested in marketing your business this way.

Even though Trade Shows and Professional Expositions are allowed as marketing avenues for Global Resorts Network, flea markets, garage sales, swap meets and farmers markets are not as they are not contributing to the Professional image that is Global Resorts Network.
